List an initiative's projects
Return the projects on an initiative as full project objects, paginated. The initiative's project_ids field holds only the ids. This list returns the full projects in one call, so you don't have to fetch each project separately.
The list checks the initiative first, then each project's own visibility. An initiative you can't see returns 404. Projects you can't see are left out of the page. Archived projects stay in the list. Check archived_at to tell them apart.
To change the projects on the initiative, POST to the same path, as described in Add or remove initiative projects, or replace the whole set with project_ids on Update an initiative.
This list takes no filters and no search. To go from an initiative to its work items in one call, use List an initiative's work items, or pass initiative_id to List work items across a workspace when you also need to filter them.
Path parameters
slug:requiredstringThe workspace slug. It appears in your Plane URLs. In https://app.plane.so/my-team/projects/, the slug is my-team.
pk:requiredstring (uuid)The initiative whose projects you want to list.
Ordering
Rows come back in a fixed order, newest first by each project's own created_at, not by when the project joined the initiative. id breaks ties. The order is not configurable, and an order_by you send is ignored.
Pagination
per_page:optionalintegerPage size. Defaults to 50, maximum 200.
offset:optionalintegerNumber of rows to skip from the start of the result set. Maximum 10000. Use the next value from the response instead of computing offsets yourself.
count:optionalbooleanDefaults to true. Set to false to skip the COUNT(*) behind total_count. The field is then omitted from the response.
Response shaping
fields and expand apply to the project rows, not to the initiative.
fields:optionalstringComma-separated list of fields to return on each row. Fields you don't request are left out of the response instead of coming back as null, so a missing key means you didn't ask for it and null means the value is null. id is always included, whether or not you name it.
Pass all to get every requestable field. An unknown field name returns 400 with the list of valid names and the closest match, so a typo is caught instead of being silently ignored.
Requestable here: archive_in, archived_at, close_in, cover_image, cover_image_url, created_at, created_by_id, cycle_view, default_assignee_id, default_state_id, description, description_html, emoji, estimate_id, external_id, external_source, guest_view_all_features, icon_prop, id, identifier, intake_view, is_issue_type_enabled, is_time_tracking_enabled, issue_views_view, logo_props, module_view, name, network, page_view, priority, project_lead_id, start_date, state_id, target_date, timezone, updated_at, updated_by_id.
description_html is left off the rows by default. Name it in fields to get it back.
See Sparse fields.
expand:optionalstringComma-separated relations to embed alongside the ids: default_assignee (the user new work items are assigned to by default), project_lead (the project lead).
Each expanded relation gets its own key: ?expand=project_lead keeps project_lead_id and adds a project_lead object next to it, so an id is never replaced by an object. An unknown value returns 400.
?fields= and ?expand= take separate sets of names. A relation name is not a valid ?fields= value, a field name is not a valid ?expand= value, and field filtering never removes an expanded object. See Expanding relations.
